Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Designer to lead UI/UX and brand design projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging websites and designing various marketing assets. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the digital and visual identity of our clients' brands.

Responsibilities

UI/UX Design:

  • Lead UI/UX projects independently, producing branded websites that effectively represent our clients’ brands and products.
  • Approach UI/UX design with a focus on brand coherence, user-friendly experiences, and conversion optimization
  • Present work to clients regularly, articulating design choices with sound reasoning and UX principles.
  • Manage design projects from discovery and strategy to ideation, iteration, and hand-off, adhering to timelines.
  • Handle client feedback professionally, knowing when to push back and how to set appropriate expectations.
  • Collaborate with developers to understand platform limitations and design trade-offs that meet both technical feasibility and business goals.
  • Create structured designs with component systems, adhering to guidelines for spacing, padding, typography, and color styles

Brand Design and Identity:

  • Design digital assets for client marketing initiatives including emails, SMS, paid ads, landing pages, packaging, print materials, and social media content
  • Lead the creation and evolution of brand identities, including logo design, typography, color schemes, and visual styles.
  • Ensure cohesive brand representation across all touchpoints, from digital interfaces to physical packaging.
  • Develop and maintain multiple design systems and style guides, ensuring consistency in a client’s brand identity and messaging across all creative collateral.
  • Work closely with other creative and marketing team members to receive daily approvals and feedback, ensuring high standards of craft and brand alignment.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their brand vision and translate it into compelling visual identities
  • Gain a deep understanding of factors driving effective marketing creatives on different channels and execute designs according to best practices.
  • Produce high-quality branding materials that align with the client’s strategic goals and market positioning.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX designer with extensive expertise in developing a brand from its initial concept through its creative evolution, including website creation and digital materials.
  • Experience working with e-commerce, software, hospitality, and other digital brands.
  • A robust portfolio (submitted on your application) showcasing your ability to produce web design and branding work, with strong foundations in color theory, hierarchy, composition, and typography.
  • Deep understanding of customer journey mapping, wireframing, and design principles, and how these elements impact consumer psychology and behavior, applying this knowledge to create effective and engaging designs.
  • Highly self-driven and proactive, demonstrating strong ownership and responsibility for precise and detail-oriented outputs.
  • Skilled at converting ideas and conversations into clear, actionable plans.
  • Extensive experience working alongside developers, with the capability to create detailed documentation for smooth design hand-offs.
  • Confident in client-facing roles, adept at leading discovery sessions, explaining design decisions, and managing client feedback in English.
  • Proficient at organizing and addressing complex, undefined challenges, designing effective solutions, and executing them efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Figma, including Auto Layout, Components, and Variants.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
