Job Overview:
Invitro Capital is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems. You will work closely with our Data Science and Engineering teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data-driven insights and develop scalable and efficient solutions. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of our portfolio companies and shape the future of AI-driven innovation.
Working Hours are from Monday's to Friday's, Pacific Time Zone.
Machine Learning Engineer, Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy machine learning models using TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
- Integrate computer vision techniques with OpenCV and deep learning frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into solutions using agile tools like Jira.
- Analyze large datasets with Hadoop and Spark to extract meaningful patterns.
- Optimize models for performance and scalability using cross-validation and hyperparameter tuning.
- Maintain data pipelines with Apache Airflow and ETL processes.
- Stay updated on machine learning trends and continuously improve models.
- Mentor junior team members and use Git for version control.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role, with a focus on integration and computer vision.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a team, including overseeing project timelines and deliverables.
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
- Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using SQL and Pandas.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Spark).
- Understanding of NLP and computer vision techniques.
- Knowledge of cloud-based machine learning platforms (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Google Cloud AI Platform).
- Experience with model deployment using Docker and Kubernetes.
