On behalf of tms, GT is looking for a Senior Manual QA interested in working on the project for McDonald's.

The duration of the project is 1 month!!

About the Project

Upcoming promotion is specific to McDonald's Crew. Crew members are not able to participate in the main promotion and therefore a game has been created to maintain engagement during the busy 4-week period, enabling Crew to get excited and feel included in the main event.

Further, some details of the promotion are: TMS will build a responsive microsite for Crew Game. The game will align with the objectives and scale of the main campaign/promotion created for customers. The game will include weekly plays with instant wins, and a restaurant leaderboard to encourage team participation across all of the restaurants. The Crew Game will run for 4 weeks. Every week crew can interact with the digital reveal for the chance to Weekly Instant Win Prizes. The prize pool consists of Cash and Merch. There is a limit of 1 entry per crew member and the win is not guaranteed. Users cannot go back and play previous weeks. The highest % of crew in the restaurant tops the leaderboard and will win the Crew Incentive prize.

Responsibilities:

• Consider quality testing needs across internal and external groups. This looks like Agile Testing, E2E Testing, Integration Testing, Exploratory Testing, Cross Device/Browser Testing, Content Testing of Emails

• Work towards understanding the requirements, designs, and all relevant documents and efficiently planning the test execution documenting and the test cases.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in understanding/questioning the gaps in the requirements, and development strategy and plan testing accordingly.

• Execute the testing across the applicable platforms and create defects in JIRA efficiently.

• Communicate the progress of testing and any critical findings regularly in internal meetings.

• Review tickets for duplicates and take part in the review and prioritization of tickets with the digital delivery and client services team.

• Conduct smoke testing with project teams planning test data ahead.

• Support the QA manager in identifying and analyzing risks to help determine potential business impact and to help make decisions regarding client reviews. Propose and plan mitigations.

• Ensure test documentation & results are maintained for the projects.

Essential knowledge, skills & experience:

• 5+ years' experience in testing web & mobile applications.

• Competence with multiple web browsers and operating systems, and an understanding of their differences and issues.

• Experience in the preparation and/or execution of formal test cases, scripts, and scenarios

• Experience using and administering testing tools (e.g., Browser Stack, etc.).

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver against aggressive schedule pressures.

• Highly collaborative, able to be in lockstep with cross-functional teams to deliver project deliverables.

• Comfortable working with UX/UI, technology, design, operations, and legal resources.

• Experience with project management software such as Confluence, Jira, Teams, Slack, Office, etc. Specifically, Jira.

• Understanding of the digital execution process and lifecycle (i.e., mobile applications (Android and iOS), large-scale promotions/sweepstakes, and social media executions is preferable).

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and relationships with a variety of personality types.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Enjoys problem identification and solving proactively.
