Senior Network Engineer (Arista SME)

Job Location: Remote

Pay rate: $80 -$90/hr W2

Schedule: M - F (8am – 5pm)

Duration: 6 – 12 month contract

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Integrate and fuse existing Cisco 3 tier architecture to be able to function within the Arista 2 Tier (Spine-Leaf) environment.
• Design, build, and document templates within the Arista Cloud Vision and Cloud test environments to operate new Arista Data Center.
• Partner with multiple organizations to understand pain points and conduct whiteboard network architectural reviews in addition to conducting Arista product networking solutions, Cloud Grade Routing and Cloud Vision (Network Automation) platform.
• Perform hands-on tests to validate customer proof-of-concept setups, Data Center and/or Campus network designs, and network deployments using new products and features
• Put together design guidelines and recommend improvements to customers for the networks they support.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Minimum of 7-years networking experience
• Experience integrating an existing Cisco 3-tier architecture into an Arista 2-tier (Spine-Leaf) environment to support multiple applications and services.
• Possess in-depth experience in routing and switching including the architecture, design and deployment of enterprise data center and/or campus-based networks.
• Experience with routing and switching including L2/L3 protocols
• Recent Experience in Leaf-Spine architecture design.
• Demonstrate previous work experience as Sr Network Architect / Designer. (Will also consider individuals who have worked for network/infrastructure vendors in a Technical Pre-Sales Solution capacity if they have had to design networks for clients).
• Understanding of Arista product solutions such as Cloud Grade Routing and Cloud Vision platform.
