Senior Operations Analyst, Planning & Insights

We are looking for a mission-driven, highly motivated team member who shares our passion and vision to simplify access to high-quality, affordable mental health, and is excited by the entrepreneurial challenges of supporting the scale of a rapidly growing operation.

As a Senior Operations Analyst specializing in Planning & Insights, you will play a critical role in driving the strategic planning and operating rhythm of our operations organization. You will partner closely with Finance, BI, Product, Engineering, and Operations leadership to identify opportunities for improvement and shape the future of our organization.

The ideal candidate has a strong sense of ownership, a bias towards action, thrives in ambiguous situations, and skillfully identifies and removes blockers to keep the momentum of their work to drive impact for the team.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with all Core Operations teams on all levels to identify and report on operational bottlenecks, performance trends and key business metrics, using data and analytics to develop high quality reporting to drive resource optimization and prioritization discussions.
  • Build and maintain excellent and innovative forecasting models in collaboration with Operations Leadership to support workforce management and labor planning, driving team decisions for hiring plans to recruit the right team members at the right time.
  • Drive analyses that help the Operations team make high quality decisions, thinking ahead to what guardrails, monitoring, or flags our teams may need as we continue to grow.
  • Develop and leverage strong cross functional relationships with Business Intelligence, Finance, Product, and Engineering to support a high quality, holistic operating rhythm backed by relevant data across the organization.

Who you are:

  • You have 4+ years work experience in business operations, workforce management, or business analytics - ideally in the start up, healthcare implementation, or healthcare consulting space.
  • You have strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and forecasting techniques.
  • You have experience with tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, Tableau, or similar software for data analysis and visualization.
  • You are relentlessly organized with meticulous attention to detail and exceptional project management skills.
  • You have exceptional communication skills that can flex to translate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • You have excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • You are passionate about mental health, our mission at Alma, and DE&I.

Benefits:

Salary Band: $100,000 - $125,000

Alma’s compensation philosophy is driven by our company value of building equity. To best ensure pay equity, we typically bring in new hires near the middle of our listed salary bands and we do not negotiate our compensation (i.e. all people hired at the same level & role are brought in at the same salary, equity, and benefits). The recruiter you work with can provide more details on our philosophy.
