As our Senior Performance Marketing Manager, EMEA, you will lead the strategic planning and execution of paid acquisition campaigns across the region. This role will be working closely across Marketing, Product, Data Science and Creative and will ensure alignment with business goals. As an expert in paid platforms, you will own day-to-day campaign management, leveraging testing, data insights and optimization to continually improve performance and identify opportunities to spearhead Coinbase's expansion across EMEA markets.
What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):
- Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and execute comprehensive paid marketing strategies across key channels, including Google Ads, Meta, Display, and Affiliate Marketing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Data Science, and Creative, to align paid marketing efforts with broader business objectives.
- Manage and optimize large-scale campaigns to ensure efficient spend and maximum return on investment.
- Campaign Management and Optimization:
- Lead the day-to-day management of paid marketing campaigns, including setting up, monitoring, and optimizing performance.
- Utilize A/B testing and other optimization techniques to continually improve ad performance.
- Analyze campaign data and provide actionable insights to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
- Budget Management:
- Oversee the paid marketing budget, ensuring that funds are allocated effectively across channels and campaigns.
- Forecast spend and ROI, making data-driven decisions to adjust strategies as needed.
- Report on budget performance and provide recommendations for future investments.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of paid marketing efforts.
- Produce detailed reports and dashboards to communicate results and insights to stakeholders.
- Leverage data analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Work closely with the broader marketing and cross functional teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to digital marketing.
- Collaborate with external agencies and partners to drive campaign success.
- Innovation and Growth:
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies in digital marketing.
- Experiment with new platforms, ad formats, and strategies to drive innovation within the paid marketing function.
- Advocate for the adoption of new tools and technologies that can enhance campaign performance.
What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):
- 10+ years of experience in paid marketing, with a strong track record of driving performance in a high-growth environment.
- Proven experience managing large budgets and complex, multi-channel, multi-geo campaigns.
- Expert knowledge of paid marketing platforms, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, and programmatic advertising.
- Knowledge/experience with Affiliate Marketing.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Proficient in using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, and other visualization/tracking tools (Looker, Superset).
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Nice to haves:
- Prior experience in the fintech, crypto, or technology sectors is highly desirable.
