NA Lean Program Manager, NA Commercial SalesThe Red Hat NA Commercial Sales team is looking for a Program Manager with Lean and process improvement skills to help create and manage ongoing projects and programs within the region. In this role, you will serve on the regional leadership team and report directly to the Vice President of Commercial Sales, as well as support initiatives across the North America (NA) ecosystem as alignmentmay call for. You’ll need to be highly motivated, resourceful, creative, and possess a solid analytic mind.

As a Program Manager, you will take direction on program requirements, but also be expected to contribute new ideas and improvements as well as provide the leadership and persuasion to ensure implementation of our plans across the region. Successful applicants must reside in a state where RedHat is registered to do business.

What you will do

Build and manage programs in the region as needed to guide sustained performance excellence; these programs may include sales training, prospecting efforts, process improvements and others as necessary•Manage synergy initiatives inside the region and handle reporting back out to the regional or global synergy office as needed•Assist in business management and financial aspects of running the day-to-day business, including forecast management, fiscal year planning, etc.• Assist the management team with people activities like reporting, hiring, promotions, etc.

  • Promote a culture of delivery and accountability to ensure that our programs have a high degree of impact on sales engagements and outcomes• Attend regional leadership meetings and present on programs and progressAssist in planning regional meetings, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), MOR, driving KPI's and action plans, etc.• Travel as needed to support key events, e.g., QBRs, Summit, sales kickoff (SKO), etc.
  • Work with various teams to coordinate metrics and reporting, including the SalesOperations, Business Finance, Synergy, Marketing, Products and Technologies (PnT), and Sales team members globally•Collaborate with senior leadership and across the matrix with our Eco, Technical Sales and Marketing teams to develop and execute strategic initiatives, campaigns, projects that are aligned with organizational goals and market trends.•Promote a culture of delivery and accountability to ensure that our programs have a high degree of impact on sales engagements and outcomes.•Drive the development and implementation of lean methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.•Enhance the rigor of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of lean initiatives and drive continuous improvement owning MOR and QBR’s as well as oversight on the action plans and problem solving to get to green.

What you will bring

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree 7+ years of experience working in business, sales, sales management, or sales operations• Proven ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with cross-functional teams•Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously under pressure and under tight timelines• Organized and detail-oriented• Excellent written and verbal communications skills•Passionate about Red Hat’s mission and open source technology along with anunderstanding of the Red Hat’s role within IBM’s greater cloud and cognitive strategy

The salary range for this position is $103,000- $170,000 (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation). Actual offer will be based on your qualifications. (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation).
