What You'll Be Doing:
- Owning medium to large size company development projects
- Developing supervisory skills by overseeing Programmer project tasks
- Handling client interactions as needed
- Developing and optimizing SQL stored procedures and ETL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources.
- Performing data cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.
- Collaborating with Statistical Consultants, Data Analysts, Business Analysts, and Project Managers to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Designing and implementing data models and structures to support data analysis and reporting needs.
- Troubleshooting and debugging SQL code to identify and resolve performance issues or data anomalies.
- Documenting SQL code, data processes, and procedures as well as suggesting improvements for development processes.
What You'll Bring to the Table:
- A B.A. or B.S. degree
- Minimum of 3 years as a Microsoft SQL Programmer
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for data manipulation and analysis
- Expertise with ETL processes and tools for data integration and transformation
- Experience with PHP programming is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- The ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
