The Senior Sustainability Reporting Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the preparation and submission of ESG reports for compliance and disclosure purposes. This role requires a deep understanding of various sustainability and regulatory reporting frameworks and involves ensuring timely and accurate data submittals across multiple compliance programs.
As a Senior Sustainability Reporting Specialist, you will collaborate closely with Data Services and Customer Delivery teams to manage reporting projects, prepare data for submissions, and set up custom dashboards and reports. Your expertise in ESG compliance frameworks and data management will be essential in delivering high-quality reports for customers.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
The essential functions and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.ESG & Compliance Reporting
Framework Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of local, regional, and global ESG reporting frameworks such as Green Loans (HUD, Fannie, Freddie), GRESB, SFDR, CDP, EU Taxonomy, local compliance requirements. Stay up-to-date on changes to reporting frameworks and utility processes.
Report Preparation: Lead the preparation and submission of ESG and compliance reports by extracting and organizing data from Measurabl’s products. Ensure reports are formatted correctly.
Timely Submittals: Ensure that all reports are submitted on time to the relevant authorities, meeting both regulatory and customer deadlines.
Compliance & Project Management
Compliance Reporting: Project manage the preparation of various compliance reports, including those related to local ordinances, green loans, and standards like GRESB, etc. Ensure that relevant data such as building, utility, space, project, audit, certification, and rating information is accurately entered into the platform. Collaborate with Data Services for bulk data imports.
Discrepancy Investigation: Review and investigate any discrepancies in mapped data for compliance and sustainability reports, documenting and resolving issues prior to internal audits and submission to authorities.
Regulatory Updates: Monitor changes in compliance reporting requirements for local ordinances, green loan programs, and other frameworks. Ensure all internal resources and processes are updated accordingly.
Custom Reporting & Dashboards
Custom Reports & Dashboards: Set up custom dashboards, analytics, and reporting solutions for customers in the Measurabl platform. Work with internal teams to tailor data outputs for specific customer needs..
Internal Resource Management & Advisory
Internal Updates: Continuously update internal resources and documentation as reporting programs, compliance requirements, and utility processes evolve. Ensure the organization is aligned with the latest regulatory changes.
Advisory Support: Contribute to ESG advisory projects by assisting with the scope of work related to reporting, helping customers navigate complex reporting requirements.
Education & Experience:

Above all, we consider a person’s potential impact in the role and value their unique path to this point in their career.Education: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Data Management, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 8 years of experience in ESG reporting, sustainability data management, or a related compliance role.
Strong familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks such as GRESB, Energy Star, CDP, local compliance, and green loan programs.
Experience managing complex data sets and preparing custom reports for regulatory and sustainability reporting.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks and the ability to interpret compliance requirements.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines simultaneously.
Proficiency with data management tools, Excel, and reporting platforms (experience with Measurabl is a plus).
Attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely report delivery.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with customers and stakeholders on reporting needs.
A proactive approach to staying current on evolving ESG and regulatory reporting standards.

Compensation Range:
- £54,000 to £68,000
