Compose.ly is looking for an experienced SEO blog writer to craft compelling, optimized blogs that drive organic growth. In this role, you'll be part of a marketing team dedicated to innovating in the conversational AI and customer engagement space. The ideal candidate is a strong writer who is eager to learn, motivated, and capable of producing high-quality content that supports the company’s thought leadership goals.

Commitment and Duration

  • Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week
  • Initial 3-month contract with potential for ongoing engagement
  • Flexibility to work in any U.S. time zone

Objectives of This Role

  • Produce five engaging, SEO-optimized blogs each week to position our client as an authority in the industry
  • Work closely with the SEO specialist to align content with strategic SEO goals
  • Ensure all content is accurate, clear, and consistent with the brand’s tone and messaging
  • Stay informed on industry trends, conversational AI, and customer satisfaction metrics like NPS and CSAT to create relevant, informed content
  • Contribute to a collaborative content creation process while working independently

Responsibilities

  • Write and publish SEO blogs weekly that adhere to best practices for rankings and conversions
  • Proofread and edit content for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with brand voice
  • Conduct research on industry topics, trends, and products to ensure content relevance
  • Stay up-to-date with SEO standards, conversational AI developments, and industry best practices
  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality across each task
  • Provide progress updates through ClickUp and maintain open communication with the team

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an SEO content writer with a portfolio demonstrating SEO-friendly content
  • Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style to match audience and brand
  • Strong command of SEO principles, creating content that ranks well without keyword stuffing
  • Ability to research and communicate complex industry topics with accuracy and clarity
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering polished, professional content
  • Familiarity with market research and customer satisfaction measures (NPS, CSAT) is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in customer engagement, AI, or technology-related writing
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools such as ClickUp
