About the Role
FareHarbor is looking for a full-time Site Reliability Engineer to build and manage services used by other engineers within the company. This role requires not only the technical skills to investigate complex low-level system issues but also strong communication skills to collaborate with our engineering teams based in Amsterdam and San Francisco.
What you'll do here:
- Manage, improve, and monitor our various clusters and services on AWS.
- Build and manage services supporting FareHarbor's engineering organization.
- Identify and reduce toil through automation.
- Debug production issues at the hardware, software, or network level and identify the root cause.
- Manage network and application monitoring tools.
- Closely collaborate with the Infrastructure team based in Amsterdam and support US-based colleagues.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in Linux environment, server administration, cloud service operations, and production codebase
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure management and provisioning tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience with Kubernetes, ideally AWS EKS and Fargate.
- Experience with observability tools and familiarity with OpenTelemetry.
- Experience with using SLOs to inform engineering decisions.

Salary Range: $133,600-$200,400, plus 15% bonus potential
