Overview:
LivePerson is currently seeking an experienced professional to join our Conversational Cloud Integration team as a Software Development Engineer. You will join a team of experienced Software Development experts to develop strategic products/solutions for integrating customers conversations into LiveEngage platform for further servicing and monitoring. This role provides an opportunity to enter a fast-growing organization and shape the future of LivePerson.
You should be an expert in:
- Designing and building distributed systems comprised of a microservices architecture
- Collecting requirements from internal and external stakeholders and breaking it down into concrete development tasks
- Working closely with internal DevOps teams to develop plans for tuning the infrastructure and platform for high load and scalability
We are a remote organization, but we value the opportunity to bring our teams together for offsite events, team collaboration, and training sessions. Therefore, we are looking for candidates who are based in Germany or Bulgaria and are willing to come into the office for these activities. You will:
- Define detailed technical requirements based on a high-level description.
- Use your expert knowledge to design and implement robust highly-available back-end services that scale
- Be responsible and drive the adoption of new and exciting technologies.
- Assess the impact of new features based on metrics that are visualized on our dashboards
- Support other team members and work together with colleagues around the world to achieve the best results
You have:
- 3-5 years experience as a full-time software developer in Java (or/and) Node.js
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science
- Proficiency in at least one frontend development framework (preferable Vue.js)
- Experience with unit, integration testing
- Experienced with restful API development
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment and using collaboration tools e.g. Jira, Confluence
- Strong communication (both written and verbal) and organizational skills
- Ability to learn new and emerging technologies
- Familiarity with Monitoring tooling e.g. Grafana, Kibana
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker
- Familiarity with cloud services, in particular GCP
