- Design core, backend software components.
- Code using primarily PHP, Hack, Python, and C++.
- Interface with other teams to incorporate their innovations and vice versa.
- Conduct design
and code reviews. - Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources.
- Establish self as an owner of a particular component, feature, or system with expert
end-to-end understanding. - Successfully completes projects at large scope while maintaining a consistent high level of productivity.
- Telecommute from anywhere in the US permitted.
- Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Information Systems, or related field and three years of work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Requires three years of experience in the following:
- 1. Coding in PHP, Hack, Python, and C++
- 2. Conducting design and code reviews
- 3. Building large-scale infrastructure applications
- 4. Owning a particular component, feature, or system
- 5. Building and shipping high quality work and achieving high reliability
- 6. Utilizing data and analysis to explain technical problems and provide detailed feedback and solutions.
Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
