Overview of Role
66degrees is seeking a senior contractor to engage on a 28 week remote assignment for 40 hours per week with potential to extend. Interested candidates should have the following required skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of backend experience in developing cloud-native applications
- Required skills:
- Java
- Spring, Spring Boot
- Practical GCP experience required
- Experience in microservice architecture
- Experience in event-driven architecture
- Nice to have skills:
- Understanding of Containerization (Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Understanding of CI/CD pipeline and proficiency in CI/CD tools – GitLab CI
- API Integration/Development (Restful API)
- GCP Architect or Developer Certifications is a nice to have
- Background in professional services / consulting.
- Strong communication skills.
- Eagerness to work in a teamwork/collaborative environment.
