As a Quality Engineer at VisibleThread, you'll be a vital part of our Engineering team, ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and collaborate closely with our Development team to deliver exceptional software solutions.
About the Role:
- As a Quality Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing manual and automated test strategies, plans, and cases to ensure the overall quality of our software products.
- You'll work with our development teams taking an active role in our Scrum process.
- You'll participate in test automation efforts to enhance test efficiency and coverage, using tools like RainforestQA.
- You'll collaborate with our development team and dev ops teams managing the verifcation process to identify, classify and resolve defects
- You'll develop and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- You'll actively participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
- You'll conduct performance and scalability testing to ensure optimal software performance.
- You'll stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in software quality assurance.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Prior experience as a Quality Engineer or Software Tester working with Web based software products.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Knowledge of Agile development processes.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with Linux, SQL, AWS is a bouns
