Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Test Engineer to join a large team of experienced professionals with varying technical & clinical backgrounds, many with more than 10 years of software verification experience.

Your role:

  • Designs, develops, evaluates, and conducts integration, testing, and verification activities of (elements of) products with focus on software aspects and concludes this with formal reporting.
  • Defines, implements, and maintains reliable and reproducible testing methodologies, ensuring compliance with quality requirements.
  • Execute test cases, record and document test results, and compare with expected results
  • Document and track software issues and defects
  • Develop new test cases based on requirements, specifications, and other technical documentation
  • Identify gaps and inconsistencies in test coverage or methodology
  • Assist with test planning, tracking, and metrics

You’re the Right Fit:

  • High school diploma required and 1-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Undergraduate degree in a technical or computer related field strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of the software development life cycle and/or software QA methodology
  • Experience with SQL and some programming experience
  • Basic working knowledge of networking and hands on experience with computer hardware

Philips Transparency Details

The hourly pay range for this position is $25.80 to $44.22, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.
