What this job can offer you

As a Solutions Consultant at Remote, you will directly impact Remote’s business by delivering consultative engagements with our customers in order to uncover and understand their global workforce ambitions and underlying challenges, and the quantifiable value of taking action. You will deliver actionable insights and potential solutions, helping our customers to make trusted investment decisions in Remote’s solutions.

What you bring

  • You have a strong consultative approach and can show examples of where you have brought credibility and critical thinking together with commercial acumen to understand client needs, build rapport, and provide strategic recommendations
  • You have had demonstrable success as a solutions consultant in collaborating with sellers and winning complex opportunities.
  • You are experienced in analysing and assess complex customer requirements effectively
  • You have an adaptable and creative approach to finding solutions to problems
  • You have strong technical aptitude, with the ability to quickly learn, understand, demonstrate and analyse software solutions
  • You are an excellent storyteller, with extremely strong written and verbal presentation skills. You are able to convey complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner
  • You are self-motivated and self-directed; able to work independently as well take a leadership role working with internal teams / stakeholders
  • You are familiar with the EOR, payroll, contractor management and global HR technology landscape
  • You are able to construct detailed, value based presentations and solution demonstrations
  • You write and speak fluent English, and, ideally you are also fluent in another language such as Korean, Japanese or Mandarin
  • It's not required to have experience working remotely, but considered a plus

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and partner closely with our sales team to help understand, quantify and address customer business goals and requirements
  • Develop a deep understanding of Remote's product offerings and technical capabilities, and communicate the value that these can bring to specific customers
  • Lead consultative engagements with prospective customers, exploring their technical and business challenges, and focusing on articulating the value of Remote’s multiple product offerings
  • Act as a trusted advisor to our customers, demonstrating thought leadership and industry expertise to provide nuanced and insightful recommendations
  • Partner with and advise internal cross-functional teams including sales, product, marketing, customer success and sales enablement to ensure a seamless buyer experience and a successful implementation of solutions
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, best practices and challenges faced by our customers in global and distributed talent employment strategies

At first glance our salary bands seem quite wide - here is some context. At Remote we have international operations and a globally distributed workforce. We use geo ranges to consider geographic pay differentials as part of our global compensation strategy to remain competitive in various markets while we hiring globally.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $39,655 USD to $89,180 USD. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.
