As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a Vice President of Revenue Operations to join our leadership team and drive the transformation of our go-to-market functions. This is a pivotal role where you’ll help shape the future of our sales operations and enable Remote’s next stage of growth.

Position Overview The VP of Revenue Operations will lead the optimization of our global sales systems, processes, and data architecture, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with business goals. A key focus will be on leveraging AI-powered tools and consolidating our tech stack to create a unified, efficient operational environment. You’ll partner closely with leadership across Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, Finance, and Product to improve sales forecasting, pipeline visibility, and operational excellence. This role demands a strategic, data-driven leader with deep expertise in sales incentives, compensation programs, and new sales and retention/expansion strategies, all while maintaining a strong commitment to driving efficiency.

What you bring

  • Extensive experience in Sales Operations/Revenue Operations, with a focus on sales incentives, compensation plans, and strategy for new sales, retention, and expansion.
  • Strategic thinker with demonstrated success in aligning sales operations with financial objectives and collaborating with Finance teams to drive business outcomes.
  • Strong background in AI tools, automation, and tech stack consolidation, particularly for sales and go-to-market systems (e.g., Salesforce, Snowflake, CPQ).
  • Proven experience in leading operational transformations, with a deep understanding of driving efficiency and process improvements within high-velocity sales environments.
  • Expertise in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and data-driven insights to support high-growth, high-performance sales organizations.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with executive leadership, finance, and global teams.
  • Commitment to driving efficiency across all operational areas and delivering scalable solutions that support long-term growth.
  • SaaS experience is highly preferred, with a deep understanding of recurring revenue models.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership in Revenue Operations: Build and optimize a world-class Revenue Operations team, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals and driving revenue efficiency at scale.
  • Sales Incentives & Compensation Programs: Design, implement, and manage sales compensation plans and incentive programs that motivate high performance while aligning with the company's revenue objectives. Collaborate closely with Finance to ensure all plans are financially sound and scalable.
  • Sales Operations Mastery: Lead the development and execution of optimized sales operations, with a focus on driving new sales growth and customer retention/expansion strategies.
  • Tech Stack Consolidation & Automation: Lead the consolidation of tools and platforms to create a streamlined tech ecosystem, with a heavy focus on AI tools and automation to improve operational efficiency.
  • Financial Alignment & Strategy: Partner closely with Finance and FP&A to ensure sales strategies and incentives align with financial goals, making data-driven decisions to forecast revenue, control costs, and optimize profitability.
  • Sales Forecasting & Analytics: Drive predictive sales forecasting and reporting using advanced analytics and data lakes (e.g., Snowflake), providing visibility into pipeline performance, win rates, and customer economics.
  • Operational Excellence: Own and drive continuous improvement across the entire lead-to-revenue process, ensuring operational agility, improving sales velocity, and delivering scalable, efficient processes.
  • Territory & Account Management: Oversee sales territories, account assignments, and rules of engagement to ensure optimal resource allocation and maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Sales Enablement & Training: Lead the development of enablement programs that improve sales team performance, ensure a seamless customer experience, and support retention and expansion efforts.
  • Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing global team of Revenue Operations and Enablement professionals, driving a culture of accountability, innovation, and data-driven decision-making
