Position OverviewThis is a full-time remote position until the end of December 2024 with 30% or more travel.As a Sound Designer and Music Composer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing sound effects, soundtracks, and custom music compositions for our videos, films, and other multimedia projects. You will collaborate closely with our creative team to understand the project vision and create audio elements that enhance the overall viewer and listener experience. What You'll Be Working OnDuties include but not limited to:· Create original film score and background music for our films and videos.· Create sound effects and ambiance for podcasts. · On-set consultant in capturing ambiance and main audio. · On-set consultant on the use of best audio capture equipment and practices. · Clean up audio from unwanted background noise. · Other related duties as assigned. Physical and Travel Requirements This is a remote position with up to 30% or more travel. What You BringKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:You think and dream with your own original background music. In fact, whatever you see around you, you play its music in your head. ProTools is your breakfast, Audition is your lunch, and you can’t fall asleep without tinkering with iZotope. You don’t make music for money; you make music to change lives. You understand how to create sound to intrigue imaginations without visuals. When there are visuals, your music speaks the emotions of those visuals moving the audience. Certifications/Licenses, Education, and Experience:· Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college; or actively working towards it.· At least five years of experience in composing music.· Strong understanding of all aspects of audio production.· Proficiency in cleaning up recorded sounds (cleaning up echos, hisses, etc.)· Knowledge of podcasting techniques. · Proficiency in audio editing.· Excellent ability to think on your feet and adapt to last-minute changes.· Strong verbal and written communication skills. · Ability to work well in a team and independently.
