About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented mid-level sound designer with music composition skills for a film project. This role combines audio design and original music creation to enhance the film's narrative and emotional impact. While initially a single job, there is potential for future collaborations. The project requires remote work over a period exceeding one week, with the final delivery expected by the end of November.
Responsibilities:
- Create a comprehensive sound design for the film, including ambient sounds, sound effects, and Foley
- Compose original music that complements and enhances the film's mood and storytelling
- Collaborate closely with the filmmaker to understand and realise their creative vision
- Integrate sound design and music seamlessly with the film's visual elements
Requirements
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in sound design for film or similar media
- Demonstrated skills in music composition, particularly for visual media
- Proficiency in industry-standard audio production and music composition software
- Strong understanding of storytelling through sound and music in film
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
