A DAY IN THE LIFE:

The Sr. Business Analyst, International supports strategic and tactical planning to enable allocation of resources to maximize sales results and profitability. They are responsible for creating and implementing analysis of sales, distributor sales, pricing and launch effectiveness. Responsible for creating analysis and presenting it allowing constructive interactions with partners and distributors focusing on key financial and logistic issues. Also responsible for strategic decision making on all relevant topics, including product launches, to run the International Business (all countries except North America) successfully. Develops innovative insight and analytics solutions that help solve key problems and consistently delivers outstanding quality information to the international team. This role will be fully remote and open to candidates located in Switzerland. In addition, this role will require the ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

  • Translates business requests into actionable models in order to present data in a clear and easy to understand way.
  • Utilizes the Power BI platform to design new reports and replace legacy reports with enhanced automation and data reporting capabilities.
  • Independently develops and implements processes and controls that maximize resources and profitability.
  • Provides analytical, data-based insights and recommendations for strategies to increase sales effectiveness and efficiency of the Countries and Regions.
  • Works with the Finance team to analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual sales results and to explain fluctuations in actual sales results compared with budget and forecast.
  • Creates ad hoc sales projection models as requested.
  • Collaborates with cross functional teams to ensure timely and appropriate implementation of processes to enhance sales results.
  • Develops analytical support for decision making of sales planning, targeting, marketing and launch campaigns.
  • Develops sales reports to track the effectiveness of relevant marketing efforts.
  • Confirms completion of required training plan before assuming job responsibilities.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, including Privacy/HIPAA, and other legal and regulatory requirements.

YOU’RE AWESOME AT:

  • Skilled at clearly conveying in-depth knowledge to all levels within, and outside of, the organization.
  • Skilled at working cross-functionally to create a cooperative team environment.
  • Able to objectively evaluate situations and make recommendations for changes in light of overall project demands.
  • Advanced computer software skills, to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Power BI and territory alignment/mapping software.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop complex solutions to extract key performance data from database tables.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to work independently on assigned projects.

YOU'LL NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience.
  • 5 years related experience in a sales organization, medical device company preferred, including:
    • Experience with developing territory alignments for field sales force
    • Experience in developing management reports and sales reporting tools.
    • Experience with manipulation and analysis of large amounts of data.
    • Prior experience with the use of analytical tools to support executive decision making is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
