We are looking for a Sr. Technical Service Engineer to join our PM team.

We are seeking a professional like you as a field-based Sr. Technical Service Engineer to provide technical support to both internal and external customers for our Engineering Plastics business.

In this role, you will be required to network and effectively communicate internally with other technical groups and the Engineering Plastics Commercial teams in support of our customers technical needs.

Developing relationships and trust at our direct customer base (processors) and our indirect customers (OEMs and Tiers) is critical. In this role, you will be the subject matter expert for the processing of thermoplastic resins and compounds.

  • Successfully engaging across the various groups withing Engineering Plastics to ensure prompt and timely technical solutions for all customers.
  • Leveraging your communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office to provide best-in-class, timely technical support and solutions to both internal and external customers.
  • Pro-actively operating effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight to support growth at customers as a technical solutions provider.

If you...

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Plastics Engineering, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or equivalent.
  • Have thorough knowledge of all thermoplastic resins and compounds.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in injection molding processing and injection molding tooling.
  • Are able to travel (at times >50% of the time).
  • Are experienced with Project management, troubleshooting, and root cause investigation skills.
  • Possess a high degree of interpersonal skills for customer interactions supporting OEMs, Tiers, and Processors, with the focus on relationship building and trust.
  • Are able to work independently and pro-actively with broad goals and objectives with minimal guidance. Also, strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Are proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
