What we’re looking for:

The Staff Accountant, Platform Invoicing is responsible for the timely and accurate production of Platform customer invoices along with appropriate support, fielding questions from customers and following up on cash collections. The Staff Accountant, Platform Invoicing will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize and enhance the invoicing, cash collections, and revenue recognition processes.

Arcadia is open to fully remote candidates and employees have access to co-working spaces.

What you'll do:

  • Manage all operational aspects of generating Platform customer invoices during the month, ensuring they are prepared timely and accurately
  • Work with the Enterprise Sales Ops team to ensure all sales in Salesforce are completely and accurately populated in Netsuite for both invoicing and revenue recognition
  • Assist with customer communications regarding our pending banking changes to ensure customers update their payment records appropriately. Follow up as necessary to expedite the transition
  • Execute and refine the cash collections process in conjunction with other accounting team members for both Community Solar and Platform to maximize the Company’s cash position
  • Weekly reporting to the Controller, CAO and CFO on the status of Invoicing, A/R and cash collections
  • Other ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned

What will help you succeed:

Must-haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of general accounting experience in a corporate environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting
  • Intermediate or advanced Excel proficiency
  • Experience in accounting software suited for a medium to large sized business. Netsuite experience is preferred
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a high-growth, fast-paced, and dynamic tech environment
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills across all levels of the business and global locations
  • Should be a self-starter able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with individuals from across the Finance Organization, external advisors, and consultants

Target Annual Compensation Range for this role will be $70,000 to $115,000. There will also be a competitive benefits and equity (bonus if applicable) component to the package. The exact compensation at which this job is filled will be determined by the skills, experience, and location of the qualified candidate.
