Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Financial Analyst.
Responsibilities:
As a Financial Analyst, you will be integrated with customer teams that support ongoing financial and budget operations, which may include transaction processing, reconciliations, and creation and maintenance of regular and ad-hoc reports. Responsibilities may include:
- Produce accurate and timely analysis of source documents and the preparation of financial documents and transactions to support contract and reimbursable activities
- Reconciliations on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis across multiple data sources
- Produce trend analysis of reconciled current (active), expired, and canceled appropriations to support future financial execution and forecasting (spend plan) documentation.
- Align cost estimates to budgets and provide support to integrate and reconcile requirements to associated budgets and identify and maintain prioritized unfunded lists.
- Create, review, and reconcile financial data to validate Estimates at Complete (EAC) and provide burn-rate analysis recommendations.
- Utilize a variety of systems and databases to research and reconcile dormant documents in support of Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation (FIAR) activities.
- Assist in the creation of budget formulation work products in accordance with DoD policies and Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular No. A-11, including Congressional Justifications and other related budget materials.
- Assist with financial forecasts and projections and reconcile funding data in support of contracting actions.
- CONUS and/or OCONUS travel – 25%, as deemed necessary
Basic Qualifications:
- B.A. or B.S. in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration. Management, or Related field
- 3 or more years of relevant experience
- Basic understanding and experience with Federal financial management policies and procedures and experience in budget execution or budget formulation in accordance with DoD policies
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Excel)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic understanding and experience with Federal financial management policies and procedures and experience in budget execution or budget formulation in accordance with DoD policies and Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular No. A-11 and the creation of budget products, such as Congression Justifications (J-Books), GAO reports and congressional engagements
- Previous experience working with the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program
- Some previous experience with DoD, Air Force, and Navy systems, which include Advana, CCaR, Navy’s Procurement Management Tool (PMT), Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Apps, and PBIS
- Some previous experience with DoD Foreign Military Sales and related systems, including Case Management Control System (CMCS), Defense Security Assistance Management System (DSAMS), and Security Cooperation Information Portal (SCIP)
- Some previous experience related to Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation (FIAR) activities
- CDFM or CGFM
Security Clearance Requirements:
- US citizenship with the ability to obtain up to a secret level clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
