Job Description

As a Strategic Account Executive at LGC Standards, you'll play a pivotal role in in fostering strong relationships with our strategic global or regional accounts and OEM partners. Collaborating closely with our Strategic Account Managers, you'll ensure seamless coordination across our internal teams throughout the sales process. Your mission? To deliver exceptional customer service, drive effective account strategies, and unearth new business opportunities within our existing strategic accounts.

Location: Fully remote within Europe, ideally from France, Germany, UK, Poland, Spain, or Italy

Core Responsibilities
As Strategic Account Executive, You ​will

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with our global or regional accounts and OEM partners
  • Assist and collaborate closely with Strategic Account Managers to ensure smooth coordination across internal teams throughout the sales process
  • Resolve inquiries and issues promptly to provide outstanding customer service
  • Ensure timely communication of updates regarding inquiries, projects, and any changes affecting our customers' business
  • Identify and pursue potential on new business opportunities within our existing strategic accounts
  • Keep up with industry trends and product updates in Reference Materials and Analytical Standards, so you can give customers expert advice on choosing and using our products effectively

Qualifications

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor`s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Chemistry, Biology, Business, or related field
  • Experience in account management or sales support, ideally in Reference Materials and Analytical Standards, with a proven track record of driving sales
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, adept at organizing and managing projects, and collaborating effectively within teams
  • Customer-focused with a dedication to meeting and exceeding expectations
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills, capable of contributing to effective strategies.
  • Excellent English skills, fluency with German and/or is a significant advantage; proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite; willingness to travel occasionally
