System Engineer - Freelancer

For a redesign project of a large-scale Active Directory infrastructure, we are looking for a Microsoft Systems Administrator with solid experience in complex and enterprise Active Directory environments.

The resource will be involved in the analysis of the existing architecture and in the design of a new organizational model, with particular attention to rationalization, standardization, security and access management.

Planned activities

• Analysis of the current Active Directory structure and identification of areas for improvement

• Redesign and rationalization of the Organizational Unit (OU) structure

• Analysis, review and optimization of Group Policy (GPO)

• Definition and standardization of naming conventions

• Design and review of the RBAC model

• Definition of guidelines and best practices for Active Directory environment management

• Support for planning and implementation of the new architecture

• Production and update of project technical documentation

• Consolidated experience in Microsoft Active Directory management and design

• Excellent knowledge of OUs, GPOs, groups, delegations and permission model

• Experience in redesign of complex and large-scale Active Directory infrastructures

• In-depth knowledge of RBAC principles and Identity & Access Management

• Ability to define standards and naming conventions in enterprise contexts

• Knowledge of Microsoft best practices relating to security, administration and governance of Active Directory

• Ability to analyze existing architectures and define target solutions

• Operational autonomy, problem-solving ability and structured approach

• Good documentation skills and ability to interact with technical teams and project stakeholders

Working mode: Full Remote Collaboration type: VAT number / Freelance Engagement duration: 6 months + renewal Compensation: €200–250/day, depending on experience and skills
