We are seeking a motivated and talented Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support our growing company and be the representation of our culture to new teammates through the onboarding process. Reporting to the Vice President, Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator will be instrumental in assisting new employees during their onboarding process while helping them to assimilate into our company. Through a broad range of responsibilities that directly impacts the candidate experience including assisting the Talent Acquisition team in scheduling interviews, post-offer communication with new employees, onboarding and pre-employment screening, data entry and new employee orientation, this opportunity has a significant impact on new employees!


Responsibilities:

  • Lead with empathy, strong communication, and a people-focused approach to achieve successful results for the organization.
  • Support and shape the company’s people-focused culture by promoting inclusivity, diversity, and collaboration by reinforcing positive workplace values and encouraging teamwork through outward messaging to candidates and new employees.
  • Assist the recruitment process through writing and posting job descriptions, scheduling phone screens and interviews and creating offer letters.
  • Communicating effectively with candidates throughout the recruitment process, particularly post-offer acceptance, providing timely updates and feedback.
  • Managing candidate data and maintaining accurate records in various HR systems including Applicant Tracking (ATS), ADP, and Deltek Vision to comply with OFCCP and state-specific laws.
  • Coordinating pre-employment background and/or drug screening checks.
  • Supporting the post-offer onboarding process to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed while working with hiring managers to prepare for the new employees’ first day.
  • Conducting first day orientation with new employees and be the point of contact for questions related to their onboarding.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience as a Talent Acquisition or Human Resources coordinator.
  • 5-8 years of demonstrated experience as a recruitment coordinator, HR assistant or related role.
  • Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), ADP or related HCM systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Able to multi-task and work independently with limited supervision.
  • Adaptable to changes in projects and priorities.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite.
  • Demonstrate a “customer service” approach in external and internal interactions.
