Where you can make a difference
You’ll take on the technical leadership of a development team in our tomedo® development division, provide guidance, and create an environment where your team can work with focus and grow both professionally and personally.
You’ll conduct regular development reviews, share your knowledge through mentoring, pair programming, and code reviews, and help new colleagues settle into the team.
You’ll coordinate between product management, UI/UX, support, testing, and development; negotiate priorities; and identify technical debt and bottlenecks. You’ll explain complex technical concepts in a way that ensures everyone ultimately shares the same vision.
As a team lead, you don’t completely step away from the code: You take on critical modules, build proof-of-concepts, and prefer to test architectural decisions in the real world of code rather than just on a whiteboard.
You establish code reviews, testing strategies, and CI/CD not as a burdensome control mechanism, but as a shared standard for good software development.
You stay on top of modern development tools—including AI and agent-based tools—and implement those that truly save your team time in their day-to-day work.
You enjoy the freedom to work 100% remotely from your favorite location in Germany. Part-time work is also possible, ideally starting at 35 hours per week.
What You Should Bring to the Table
You have several years of experience in software development, ideally in native development with Objective-C/Swift or in Java development.
You’ve previously led a team in a technical capacity or taken on responsibility for other developers in a comparable role.
You provide guidance, delegate responsibility, and see yourself as an enabler for colleagues with varying levels of experience.
You already have experience with agent-based software development or AI tools. Relational databases (ideally PostgreSQL), Git-based workflows, automated testing, and CI/CD processes are also part of your daily development routine.
To truly get off to a good start with us, you’re fluent in German at a minimum C1 level. You also have a good command of English.
