Are you a skilled Technical Content Developer with a passion for crafting engaging learning experiences? Do you seek a role where your creativity and technical acumen directly contribute to advancing network security? Join our Learning & Enablement team as a Technical Content Developer, where your skills will not only be valued but also essential in shaping the future of Palo Alto Networks.

Your Impact

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Design, develop, and maintain technical training content and curricula to meet the learning needs of both internal and external users of Palo Alto Networks products
  • Translate complex technical concepts into accessible and engaging learning solutions
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with product launches and training objectives
  • Perform ongoing testing, troubleshooting, and updates to ensure high-quality training content, including demonstrations, hands-on labs, and assessments
  • Adapt swiftly to the fast-paced nature of technological innovation, revising content in a structured and timely manner
  • Manage deadlines effectively, reprioritizing as needed to ensure the timely completion of course-related deliverables
  • Stay informed with the developments in cybersecurity and adjacent technologies - This includes a wide range of areas from general networking and endpoint systems to cutting-edge fields like SaaS, public cloud infrastructure, and machine learning

Qualifications

Your Experience

We're looking for candidates with the the following:

  • Proven Expertise in Technical Content Strategy
    At least 5 years of experience in crafting technical content strategies, developing technical curricula, and engaging in comprehensive course planning

  • Hands-On Experience with Training Labs and eLearning Modules
    Demonstrated skills in creating, overseeing, and updating training labs, along with designing interactive eLearning modules

  • Collaborative Work Style
    A track record of successful cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders from diverse departments

  • Specialized Knowledge in Key Technical Areas
    Experience in developing training content focusing on one or more of the following domains:
    networking, network security, next-generation firewalls (NGFW), cloud access security brokers (CASB), SASE (secure access service edge) encompassing secure remote access, network security, and zero-trust network access, SD-WAN, or Autonomous Digital Experience Management

  • Tool Mastery
    Strong proficiency in content development tools, including but not limited to Articulate, Evolve, Captivate, Camtasia, and the Adobe Suite

  • Portfolio of Outstanding Work
    A collection of work that showcases your exceptional skills in eLearning course development

  • Educational Background
    A BA/BS/MA/MS degree in Instructional Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience, such as military training, that aligns with the role

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be between $109,600/yr to $177,200/yr. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
