Job Description

As a Technical Recruiter at Orium, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization by hiring diverse and high-performing teams across the Americas. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Talent & Culture, you’ll lead full-cycle recruitment and partner with hiring managers to attract top talent. Your strategic approach and commitment to an exceptional candidate experience will directly impact our company’s growth and culture

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing top talent to celebrating offer acceptances and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Use creative sourcing strategies to engage passive candidates through personalized outreach and social media platforms.
  • Build and nurture pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill technical roles, ensuring our teams are always ready to scale.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, understanding their needs and delivering tailored talent solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Coordinate interviews, reference checks, and scheduling to ensure a seamless recruitment process.
  • Amplify our employer brand through engaging job posts, targeted campaigns, and social media outreach that showcase Orium’s culture and values.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, delivering insights on talent availability, salary benchmarks, and best practices to influence hiring strategies.
  • Act as an ambassador of Orium’s culture, ensuring a positive, inclusive, and equitable experience for all candidates and stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2+ years of technical recruitment experience, ideally in fast-paced environments like startups, agencies, or professional services.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple roles and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Greenhouse) and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter).
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with a focus on engaging passive talent and partnering with executing stakeholders.
  • A creative problem-solver who thrives on overcoming challenges with energy and determination.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a fun, team-oriented environment.
  • Curiosity and a commitment to staying informed on recruitment trends and industry best practices.

Is this Role a Fit for You?

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Are energized by meeting new people, understanding their motivations, and aligning their skills with the right opportunities.
  • Are a natural relationship builder who enjoys connecting with diverse talent across regions.
  • Embrace a dynamic, fast-paced environment and excel in managing ambiguity and changing priorities.
  • Value collaboration, creativity, and making a meaningful impact in your role.

Benefits and Perks

  • Enjoy a flexible schedule of full-time hours. As a remote-first organization, we care about the work you do, but it’s up to you to choose where and how you do it.
  • Explore ongoing opportunities for professional development: training, conferences, certifications, and in-house peer mentorship.
  • Experiment with new techniques, wear multiple hats and learn about new disciplines.
  • Pursue independent projects, explore new ideas, and challenge yourself in your field with dedicated “Awesome time” (self-directed professional development) annually and quarterly training budgets.
  • On top of standard medical and dental coverage, we offer benefits like a parental leave top-up plan, an EAP, mental health coverage, virtual healthcare and a minimum vacation policy.
  • Our Toronto HQ is a modern, ergonomic space complete with hotelling standing/sitting desks available and an open-concept social atmosphere.
  • Additional perks are available including in-house mindfulness sessions, an employee stock option plan, remote group get-togethers, and more!
  • The Canada Base Salary Range for this role is $70,000 - $90,000 CAD. Orium lists this range in good faith, reflecting the expected base salary for this role in the specified locations as of this posting. The pay offered will depend on several relevant factors, such as education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, location, and business needs. Please note, this range does not include any benefits that may be included as part of the total compensation package.

Performance and Growth Expectations

We emphasize accountability for outcomes, but autonomy in activities. Your work will be measured across a number of data points (peer, leader & project team feedback) and will also be measured on the basis of client and user satisfaction. Your growth path is in your hands— you’ll have ongoing meetings with your leader to help determine your path, but your progress will be based on what you hope to achieve and how you choose to access the resources available to you.
