Position: Technical Sales Professional
Location: Remote USA
The Technical Sales Professional III manages accounts, executes sales strategy, and ensures territory growth. Responsibilities include:
Managing, growing, and delivering results for assigned territory
Creating and implementing territory plans and customer budget goals
Understanding client needs and providing solutions
Accelerating sales by identifying and seizing opportunities
Negotiating complex situations within and outside the organization
Managing distribution activities to support growth in the core business
Consistently applying sales process and use of all sales tools (SFDC)
Developing sales funnel for future growth
Achieving growth and erosion prevention metrics
Ability to learn and demonstrate installation practices
Understanding company, customer, and competitive supply chains
Identifying innovative market opportunities and communicating them into the organization
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or chemical, and 3+ years of relevant sales experience or 7+ years of relevant sales experience in a related industry without a degree, preferably in construction or Insulation field
Demonstrated success in selling to distribution while creating end user pull in a technical sales field
Experienced PC Skills in a Microsoft environment
Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel, with travel expected to be 50% of the time depending on territory size/geography
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working within the Insulation, construction, chemical & adhesive industry
Understanding of Technical Specifications and construction engineering experience
Demonstrated ability to be open-minded, organized, and tenacious
Customer technical work or equivalent experience
Knowledge of “value selling” techniques and how to quantify value
Leadership potential and desire for more responsibility
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
The salary for this role is $73,500 - $92,500. In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a Sales Incentive Plan.In addition to your salary, H.B.
