Position Overview

The Total Rewards Analyst support the day-to-day administration of the company’s compensation, and health and welfare programs. Assist with the design, implementation and administration of compensation and benefits programs that align with our strategy and support the recruitment and retention of top performers. In addition, the Sr Analyst Total Rewards assists with administering the company’s equity programs.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Conducts competitive benchmarking and survey analysis to assist with the evaluation of the company’s salary ranges, grade levels, short-term and long-term incentive program design, and other compensation programs.
  • Assists with administration of company benefit plans, including ongoing communication to employees, open enrollment, plan documentation, audits, annual filings, billing reports and reconciliation.
  • Maintain employee benefits systems and ensure benefits changes are entered appropriately in benefit system.
  • Responsible for accurate set up and processes 401k retirement plan contributions and 401k loans, answering employee questions related to qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, and conducing annual filings and reconciliation.
  • Provides information to employees, managers and Human Resources regarding compensation and benefit programs.
  • Regularly conducts job evaluations using market data and peer group compensation and benefits data and trends, completing analysis of programs in effort to provide future recommendations for recognition, retention, and attraction.
  • Assists in the administration of the company’s equity program; prepares and disseminates summary reports to track equity budget and benchmark metrics.
  • Addresses employees’ equity related issues either directly with the employee or through our external stock plan administrator.
  • Assists in the development and dissemination of effective communication materials that enhance the understanding and value of Total Rewards programs.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes and support in the creation and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compensation and benefits offerings remain competitive and compliant with federal and state laws.
  • Participates in annual salary and benefits surveys.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Human Resources, Compensation, Benefits, Finance, or related field required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required with preference of Human Resources, Business Management or related field; or equivalent work experience and background.
  • Certified Compensation Professional or CEBS designation preferred.
  • Strong interest in learning and managing processes and programs in both compensation and benefits fields.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint); advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and formulas required.
  • Process oriented with strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Self-starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines. Requires strong oral, written and communication skills.
  • Strong ability to follow through and see projects through to completion.
  • Able to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Demonstrates respect for employees at all levels of the organization by responding quickly and appropriately to their requests.
  • Experience with HRIS, e*trade, and Empower a plus.
