We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our team based in Coventry. In this role you will work across the business, with both internal and external stakeholders, to deliver structured analysis across the project lifecycle. This may include understanding and prioritising business requirements, business design activity, modelling different solutions and supporting business cases or benefits assessments.
You should be able to plan analysis work and manage/influence our key stakeholders to ensure they are both bought into our direction of travel but also understand what we are doing.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Be curious through analysing data and processes to help perform root-cause analysis and support the development of compelling business/benefit cases.
- To build strong links across the business, with partners and other stakeholders, and manage their expectations effectively.
- Use a variety of techniques/data to ensure business requirements are identified, prioritised and included in project planning.
- Understand and analyse core business processes and user experience, and design/re-engineer to deliver new target states that benefit our internal/external customers.
- Facilitate workshops to support opportunity identification and the definition of detailed business requirements through collaboration with the wider business. Resolve any conflict between requirements, develop feasibility reports and support the delivery of those requirements.
- Help shape the analysis approach and plan.
- Undertake quality assurance during testing/evaluation to ensure requirements met
- Support business change assessments
- Support development of the Business Analyst methodology and template deliverables, working with the Delivery Management Office to ensure that best practice is shared across the organisation.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
As a Business Analyst with us we would be looking for you to have experience in delivering and leading analysis work across the project lifecycle. You’ll have great stakeholder management, influencing and problem solving skills. Experience of designing business solutions/journeys to benefit the end user.
We’ll want you have practical experience in drawing sound conclusions and making suitable recommendations. It would be advantageous if you have been operating within both Agile and Waterfall project delivery mechanisms.
Occasional travel to other sites may be required.
