The Role
As a Treasury Operations Administrator, you’ll be supporting the Treasury team with operational requirements to ensure that client funds remain secure. You will assist in the safeguarding of customer funds and processing internal payments that keep the company operational. You will produce and oversee reporting that will be vital to our customers and to our banking partners. The role will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments.
Requirements
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting the Treasury team with initiating daily safeguarding transfers
- Helping to reconcile the customer bank accounts to ensure all payments are completed successfully
- Generating, verifying, and sharing statements for customers
- Document management and uploads for account opening and Know Your Vendor (KYV) requests
- Identifying and escalating any errors within reconciliations and payment processing
- Liaising with partners and banks on any potential issues with statements or reconciliations
- Providing cover for other members of the Finance team
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in the organisation and incorporating the changes as required
- Promptly responding to information requests from internal and external stakeholders
- Other ad-hoc assignments as and when required
To be successful in this role, you:
- Have experience working directly in a Treasury or finance operations function working with client funds.
- Have knowledge of reconciliation practices
- Have experience using third party reconciliation software and banking systems
- Are an expert in Microsoft Excel
- Have excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Have a proactive approach with the ability to show personal drive and enthusiasm
- Have high IT literacy skills and competence with adapting to new technologies
Desirable:
- Have experience working in a start up payments company or e-money institution
