Job Description

  • You will contribute to an advanced technical project in an experimental physics or engineering team for a period of 8 to 13 weeks;
  • A report on your work and project will be expected at the end of the project;
  • Remote project work, no stay or visit at CERN required;

Qualifications

  • You are a Ukrainian citizen;
  • You are enrolled as a student in Physics, Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics in one of the accredited universities in the Ukraine;
  • You must remain registered as a full-time student throughout the internship at CERN;
  • You must reside permanently in Ukraine in a territory that was not occupied before 2022;
  • You have not worked at CERN before with any other status;
  • You have a good knowledge of English

Additional Information

We offer

  • a contract of association as a trainee of up to 13 weeks to work on a technical project;
  • a grant of 1500 CHF awarded for continuous engagement in the project for a period of minimum 8 and up to 13 weeks, under the condition of completion of a project report and its validation by the supervisor at the end of the program;

Required Documents

  • A copy of your Ukrainian passport;
  • CV with a motivation letter;
  • A copy of your most recent academic transcript with grades;
  • When filling out the application form, select at most two projects and indicate, which is your favourite one.
