What we're looking for

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Virtual Health Coach based in South Africa to join our team on a consultancy basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing remote health coaching services to our clients, helping them achieve their health and wellness goals.

This is a 3-month consultancy position with the possibility of a 1-month rolling period thereafter. The remuneration for this position is USD 1,200 per month. The working hours are 1 pm - 10 pm, Thursday through Monday.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual coaching sessions with clients to assess their health and wellness needs, set goals, and develop personalised plans.

• Monitor clients' progress and provide ongoing support, guidance, and motivation to help them stay on track.

• Educate clients on various health topics, including nutrition, exercise, stress management, and lifestyle modifications.

• Actively engage clients through video calls, voice notes, and chat messages.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.

• Regularly report on client progress and provide feedback to the company.

• Stay current with the latest health and wellness trends, research, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Passionate about delivering exceptional service to your clients and fostering long-term relationships, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

• Hold a degree in psychology or another health-related field, providing a strong foundation for understanding and addressing client needs.

• Health coaching or personal training certification with a minimum of 1 year of experience in virtual health coaching, wellness consulting, or a related field.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire clients.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Tech savvy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in using virtual communication tools, such as video conferencing and instant messaging.

• Familiarity with health and wellness mobile apps, wearables, and tracking tools.

• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
