The Web Developer role will perform development on the Sitecore platform for
Extreme Networks’ corporate website. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day development and maintenance of Sitecore applications, ensuring their functionality and efficiency. This role will be part of the
Extreme Networks’ IT organization, working closely with the Marketing organization and other cross-functional teams to implement solutions and enhance user experiences, and support digital marketing strategies.
Job Responsibilities
- Developing, testing, and deploying Sitecore-based web applications and modules.
- Collaborating with designers, content creators, and marketers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Optimizing website performance, security, and accessibility to meet industry standards.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Sitecore and web development in a timely manner.
- Managing content workflows, versioning, and publishing processes within Sitecore.
- Staying updated with the latest Sitecore features, tools, and best practices, and incorporating them into development practices.
- Providing technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
- Participating in code reviews, quality assurance, and continuous integration processes.
- Documenting development processes, configurations, and code changes for future reference.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of development methodologies and practices within the organization.
Your Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of years of experience in a development role with a proven track record of developing solutions using Sitecore or other content management systems
- Strong development background in Sitecore 10+, C#, .Net, SXA, Scriban, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PowerShell scripting, Visual Studio, and related web technologies.
- Experience with Sitecore Managed Cloud, Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA), Content Hub, Coveo
- Experience with or knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CO Pipelines, Azure PaaS, Azure Functions, Web Application Firewall (WAF), Content Delivery Network (CDN)
- Experience with language translation solutions such as Smartling
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
- Experience interacting with web service APIs
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Sitecore developer certification a plus
