We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Web Developer to elevate our website to new iconic heights! This is a contract position, working 5 days a week. By prioritising website optimisation, you'll enhance our user experiences and foster increased engagement and conversion rates. We are accepting applications worldwide as long as you are within GMT-3 and GMT+1 time zones.

To help you best prepare, we’ve outlined the interview process for this role, we aim to have this process completed within 3 weeks:

  • 30 minute google meet with our People and Talent Coordinator
  • 45 minutes google meet with our Global Growth Director
  • 30 minutes google meet with our Senior Mobile engineer
  • 30 minutes technical interview with our VP of Marketing

Requirements

About you:

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of full-stack web development experience, with strong skills in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
  • Performance Optimisation: You’re skillful in optimising website speed and performance, understanding of best practices for loading times, and experience with tools like Google PageSpeed Insights.
  • Experience in maintaining websites.
  • Experience with CMS Platforms. Ideally, Storyblok.
  • Experience integrating various APIs for app initiatives and other third-party services to enhance website functionality.
  • Experience in working on Cross Browser compatibility, ensuring consistent performance and appearance.
  • Experience in preventing common security concerns such as cross-site-scripting.
  • Familiarity with responsive web design and the ability to implement designs from Figma into functional web applications.
  • Familiarity with version control systems and common CI/CD tools github actions
  • Proactive and Problem-Solving Mindset: Eager to identify challenges and innovate solutions, demonstrating initiative and a forward-thinking approach.
  • Adaptable and Continuous Learner: Quick to adapt to new technologies and methodologies, with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development and mastery of the latest trends in web development.
  • Collaborative Team Player: Excellent communication skills, ability to work effectively within diverse teams, and a commitment to contributing to a positive and inclusive team environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  1. Integrate our website with the latest product features like referral programs, post previews, and more through seamless frontend and backend implementations
  2. Translate designs from Figma into visually stunning, responsive web experiences adhering to accessibility and web standards
  3. Manage and update website content efficiently using our CMS platform Storyblok
  4. Enhance website performance through optimisation techniques
  5. Implement technical SEO elements to boost visibility and organic traffic
  6. Integrate third-party APIs and services to unlock advanced functionality and enriched user experiences
  7. Develop full-stack solutions
  8. Collaborate across design, product, and marketing teams to prioritise requirements and deliver high-impact website improvements.
  9. Uphold code quality through comprehensive testing and other modern frameworks.
