Florida's economic transformation over the past century is one of the most remarkable in American history. The migration of financial professionals, tech workers, and entrepreneurs from New York and California accelerated dramatically during and after the pandemic. Miami, Tampa, and Jacksonville have all invested in tech ecosystem development to capitalize on the influx. Orlando's diverse economy — spanning tourism, defense, simulation technology, and healthcare — also supports a wide range of remote work opportunities.
