Job Description

What You’ll Do

While the Account Associate is considered a “junior” sales representative, it is a critical sales role at Burwood. You will either support / partner with an Account Executive on an established book of business or will be an individual contributor responsible for growing an independent territory.

The Account Associate will lead Burwood to positive sales results and will represent Burwood in a positive light in all engagements. The Account Associate will develop sales skills and product and solution knowledge while in this role.

  • New Business Development

  • Account / Territory Planning

  • Client Advocate and Customer Engagement

  • Engage Strategic Partners

  • Be Active in the Community

Qualifications

For consideration, you reside within the California region.

Who You Are

  • You have 2-5 years sales experience
  • Your colleagues would describe you as a top-notch communicator (verbal, written and interpersonal)
  • You are results driven and goal oriented with a “can do” attitude when searching for a solution to a problem
  • You are proactive and assertive while maintaining professionalism
  • You are willing to travel and work outside of business hours
  • You have the stamina to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • You are a team player
  • A plus if you have a bachelor’s degree
  • You are extremely driven and tenacious, with a strong desire to grow and learn.
  • You have a passion for business and technology.

The Tech Stuff

  • A willingness to conduct independent learning: blogs, on-line trainings, industry periodicals
  • Familiarity with infrastructure technologies
  • General understanding of our Channel Partners
