What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- A minimum of 3-5 experience and proven track record in Finance industry/ Accounting
- Proven experience with accounts payable/receivables, reconciliation, general ledger, processing of invoices and electronic banking procedures
- Experience with purchase requisitions, purchase orders and running the end-to-end accounts payable process.
- Knowledge of GST and how transactions are processed
- Demonstrated experiences using an ERP system like SAP, Quickbooks, Xero, MYOB, etc.
- Demonstrated highly effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication and customer service skills
- Proficient use of computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
Nice to Have:
- Exerience supporting Australian clients is highly advantageous.
What will you do?
The Finance Officer / Accountant supports the Finance function through the timely and accurate processing of a variety of financial transactions, as well as financially focused administrative tasks and internal controls. These transactions cover the processing of supplier invoices (Accounts Payable), the allocation of payments from customers (Accounts Receivable) and other general ledger entries as directed by the Regional Controllers and/or the Chief Financial Officer.
- Maintain, create supplier accounts and ensure payment of suppliers/vendors within payment terms.
- Prepare and process invoices for payment.
- Reconciliation of supplier's invoices and statements.
- Liaising with suppliers (via telephone) to resolve queries.
