The Lime Accounting team is looking for an Accounting Manager to help in revolutionizing micro-mobility! If you are excited about being part of a growing tech startup and are looking for a position where your work will make a huge impact, then Lime is the place for you!
We are looking for an Accounting professional who is excited about learning the micro-mobility business while building cross-functional relationships to help improve processes so we can continue to grow and scale our operations.
Based out of Poland, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for all aspects of accounting as well as driving data integrity and compliance. You will report to the EMEA Controller, work side-by-side with the Shared Service Centre (based in Malaysia), local financial service providers and local Operations teams.
As we are growing extremely fast, we’re looking for a self-starter who is autonomous, hard-working and structured with excellent attention to detail. Flexibility is a key trait, you are comfortable with the unknown and ready to roll up your sleeves to see ideas, projects and new initiatives through to the end.

What You'll Do:

  • Own the financial close and processes for EMEA entities and collaborate with local financial service providers to facilitate a smooth monthly and yearly financial close process.
  • Assist in preparing various EMEA entity filing requirements and contribute to annual financial and management reporting.
  • Play an active role in the statutory audit process, arranging planning meetings, identifying key stakeholders, defining milestones, and managing the overall timeline.
  • Review and analyse the PLs, Balance Sheets, and cash flow statements of the entities to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams across the organization to drive overall enhancements in the Finance department.
  • Optimize processes through streamlining and automation, implementing smart, pragmatic solutions for operational and reporting challenges.
  • Engage in long-term strategic partnerships with external service providers to ensure smooth financial operations.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting and / or professional accounting qualification ACCA / CPA
  • 6+ years relevant experience with progressing scope and responsibilities
  • Knowledge of IFRS and any local GAAP and ability to apply these practically. Knowledge of US GAAP is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with internal and external audits as well as building a strong control environment
  • Strong project management skills; ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and manage projects and cross-functional teams
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a desire for continuous growth and improvement
  • Preferred experience:

  • Experience in an EMEA finance context, scale-up or multinational environment is highly preferred
  • Experience with Netsuite, Workiva, Coupa and other cloud-based ERP solutions is a plus
