About the job
As the Accounting Manager, you will partner with the CFO to support the success of CQL. Your challenge will be to help develop and maintain key accounting processes that connect CQL’s work withaccurate financialstatements. As an Accounting Manager, you will represent the CQL brand, values, and culture both internally and externally and be tasked with day to day accounting processes including invoicing and expense tracking.
We are looking for someone experienced in time and material based invoicing who also thrives on aligning repeatable processes with business goals.
You Will
- Organize and record financial all AR, AP, and expense related activities
- Reconciling accounts
- Support internal departmental communications and reporting
Experience
Need to have
- Experience in day to day accounting using QBO, Excel, and Google Sheets.
- Previous work in professional services organizations.
- Knowledge of Month End Close.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
- Ability to problem solve with the accounting team and with other departments.
Nice to have
- Experience with PowerBI.
- Experience with Smartsheet.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Knowledgeable about accrual-based GAAP accounting standards.
- Strong project management skills and ability to work in a collaborative team setting.
- Experience drafting financial statements.
