If you’re keen to join, we’re looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Manila.
You will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining expense control through tasks such as receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. The ideal candidate for this role has a proficiency in managing tasks under pressure, prioritising effectively, and meeting important deadlines, as well as exceptional time management and organisational skills. If you're eager to enhance your skills by collaborating with the Finance team of a dynamic and expanding technology firm, this position could be the ideal fit for you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Verify, code and match invoices with purchase orders; input invoices into our accounting systems (Coupa + NetSuite).
- Aid in the uploading of invoices from various sources such as Bluestar, Jarltech, Sektor, Travel Perks, etc.
- Support in managing the Accounts Payable email inbox.
- Examine invoice approvals in adherence to the Delegation of Authority (DOA) guidelines.
- Reconcile vendor statements accurately.
- Oversee Direct Debit transactions diligently.
- Assist with employee expense reimbursements, ensuring alignment with the T&E Policy (subject to Accounting Review).
- Maintain vendor profiles, ensuring all data is current (vendor address, contact details, banking information, etc.).
- Coordinate with internal personnel across all levels.
- Contribute to month-end closing tasks as necessary.
What you need to bring:
We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Understanding of basic accounting procedures (Amortisations, CAPEX, SOX, Accruals, etc.)
- Extensive knowledge of the complete Accounts Payable Cycle
- Excellent command of English (verbal and written)
- Extensive knowledge using Microsoft Excel
