Job Overview

Davies US is looking for a Property and Casualty ANALYST, who can assist more senior team members on the project tasks. Reporting to one of our Consulting Actuaries, you will assist project leaders by producing technically sound work products in a timely manner.

To be successful in this role, you need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to manage your time and be customer focused. You must have at BA/BS degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, computer science, finance, business, or related field. Additionally, you will need to work collaboratively and demonstrate initiative. This role is a full-time position based in Peachtree Corners, GA.

Experience and Qualifications

Required

  • BA/BS degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, computer science, finance, business, or related field
  • 0-2+ years of experience in the property & casualty industry
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Preferred

  • Successfully passed 2 or more actuarial exams

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills
  • Able to ensure projects are delivered on time and of the highest quality
  • Demonstrates strong initiative and ability to work collaboratively

Position Type, Work Environment and Physical Demands

This is a full-time salaried, exempt position that predominantly operates in our main Peachtree Corners office and routinely using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, photocopiers, and scanners and requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk while working on a computer. While performing the duties of this job, the individual will be required to regularly hear and talk. This is a largely sedentary role requiring the ability to sit at a desk, reach outward, use a phone, have use of fingers to operate office equipment such as a keyboard, mouse, phone, printer, copier, and to reach above the head, bend, or stand, as necessary.
