Position Summary:

The primary responsibilities of the Supply Chain Analyst are to support the Director, Supply Chain in the development and implementation of strategic sourcing initiatives, indirect supplier spend analysis, the strategic plan, and the analysis & reporting of monthly operating results. Works closely with Supply Chain leadership and cross-department managers to gather, validate, and review data and results. In addition, the Supply Chain Analyst will provide analytical support to the Finance & Accounting team to measure and track the effectiveness of Supply Chain projects and identify sourcing and/or cost-saving opportunities for AdaptHealth.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyses business and financial data.
  • Creates financial models based on analyses to support organizational decision making.
  • Develops financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.
  • Analyzes industry trends and makes recommendations based on those trends.
  • Provide variance analysis for ongoing projects and determine root cause.
  • Provide meaningful, accurate, insightful, and timely management reporting in an understandable format.
  • Serve as liaison between Supply Chain / Finance and AdaptHealth departments for indirect-spend related issues. Able to provide expert procedural advice and solutions.
  • Assist in driving enhancements in routine analysis, business processes, policies, and procedures along with documentation, as well as systems transitions/requirements.
  • Provide ad hoc analytical support and perform special projects as needed.
  • Analyze large amounts of data and develop reports to clearly communicate results to leadership.
  • Assume responsibility for independent completion of tasks and small projects.
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of current HME products and services offered by the company.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and function within the guidelines of HIPAA.
  • Completes assigned compliance training and other educational programs as required.
  • Maintains compliant with AdaptHealth’s Compliance Program.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Solid ability to learn new technologies and possess the technical aptitude required to understand flow of data through systems as well as system interaction.
Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply chain, Accounting/Finance, business, or health care related field required.
  • Two to three (2-3) years’ experience in corporate Supply Chain or Finance regardless of industry or finance experience; Healthcare industry experience preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Mental alertness and ability to analyze large amounts of data and report in a clear and concise manner.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, stretch, stand, and sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions of wrists, hands and/or fingers due to extensive computer use.
  • Work environment may be stressful at times, as overall office activities and work levels fluctuate.
  • Subject to long periods of sitting and exposure to computer screen.
  • May be exposed to angry or irate customers, patients, or referral sources.
  • Ability to utilize a personal computer and other office equipment.
  • Able to lift to 5 to 10 pounds periodically as needed.
  • Mental alertness and the ability to properly treat confidential information.
  • Physical and mental ability to perform essential functions.
  • Excellent ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with customers with the ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion, courtesy, and respect for privacy.
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed.
