Our Finance department is expanding rapidly! Over the past year, our Finance team has experienced substantial growth and has played a pivotal role in driving our financial success. We're seeking an AP Specialist part-time working student who thrives in a dynamic financial environment and has a knack for numbers. Could you be the one we're looking for?

As an Accounts Payable Specialist working student, you will be part of our Global Accounting
team that is responsible for ensuring that all internal and external reporting requirements are met and day-to-day operations specifically closing and consolidation of domestic and foreign subsidiaries are running. The AP Accountant Specialist will adhere to accounting governance plans and processes to timely generate accounting information and reporting requirements, and ensure the quality of financial information.

What you’ll do:

  • Checking and processing incoming inquiries
  • Support with the maintenance of supplier master data
  • Check incoming invoices and forward them to the team colleagues for further processing
  • Supporting the accounts payable team with processing invoices
  • Review and posting of travel costs, expenses, and (virtual) credit cards
  • Careful review, account assignment, and posting of national and
    international business transactions in the area of accounts payable using our SAP workflow, taking into account the legal requirements (IFRS if applicable)
  • Supporting the team leader with special topics

Requirements

  • Ongoing studies in economics, business administration, or a comparable degree
    program
  • Basic knowledge of accounting, ideally acquired as part of a commercial
    apprenticeship
  • SAP user knowledge in accounts payable is desirable
  • You can work independently and accurately
  • Fluent English is required
