Application/Cloud Architect

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for an Application/Cloud Architect to join our UniQue team.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Architecture and design of new information systems.
• Development and maintenance of Java Spring MVC monolith applications with JSP and JavaScript/jQuery/CSS frontend implementation.
• Development and maintenance of hosted webservices REST and SOAP.
• Implement new business requirements.
• Regular maintenance and support operations (ongoing).
• Design of component architecture and building blocks.
• Analysis of the integration of different information systems.
• Consider both user needs and technical aspects of the web application(s).
• Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture.
• Production of software architecture documents.

Requirements

What will you be bringing to the team?

• Bachelor Degree in IT or related field followed by minimum 10 years of professional experience in IT.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in architecture for web information systems, including the design and development based on Java for web applications.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in continuous integration tools (e.g., Maven, Gitlab, JUnit).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Spring Framework.
• Excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming languages.
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems.
• At least one of the following Certifications: Oracle certification on Java / Agile development methodology related certificate(s) (e.g., Scrum master / product owner) / Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP) certification / AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Fluent in English at least at a level B2.
