Responsibilities:
- Import all VRI and OPI calls daily into scheduling system
- Ensure minimums are billed for each appointment / call
- Bundle appointments
- Check all appointments in the review center
- Check mileage for interpreters
- Check parking fees for interpreters
- Enter all patient and insurance information from daily patient reports from JFK Clinic
- Create Phone report weekly for Affinia Healthcare, People’s Health Centers and Access Family Care
- Enter all insurance information from each weekly phone report into scheduling system for appropriate billing
- Follow up with clients for missing insurance or billing information
- Create invoices weekly and/or monthly depending on the client
- Edit invoices
- Re-billing (create a new invoice if original appointment was billed incorrectly)
- Email invoices to customers
- Assist in project management as needed
- Call or text interpreters to check on availability
- Talk to customers requesting interpreters
- Answer phones
- Enter Affinia appointments as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Required Minimum Education and Experience:
- High school diploma/GED.
- Degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field preferred.
- Work experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Efficient multitasking and time management skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of accounting software.
- Working knowledge of accounting principles.
- Strong customer service skills
