Description

Responsibilities:

  • Import all VRI and OPI calls daily into scheduling system
  • Ensure minimums are billed for each appointment / call
  • Bundle appointments
  • Check all appointments in the review center
  • Check mileage for interpreters
  • Check parking fees for interpreters
  • Enter all patient and insurance information from daily patient reports from JFK Clinic
  • Create Phone report weekly for Affinia Healthcare, People’s Health Centers and Access Family Care
  • Enter all insurance information from each weekly phone report into scheduling system for appropriate billing
  • Follow up with clients for missing insurance or billing information
  • Create invoices weekly and/or monthly depending on the client
  • Edit invoices
  • Re-billing (create a new invoice if original appointment was billed incorrectly)
  • Email invoices to customers
  • Assist in project management as needed
  • Call or text interpreters to check on availability
  • Talk to customers requesting interpreters
  • Answer phones
  • Enter Affinia appointments as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements

Required Minimum Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • Work experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Efficient multitasking and time management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and numerical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of accounting software.
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Strong customer service skills

  • Fluent in English
