This is a remote position.

Schedule:

  • Mon - Fri 8 AM- 5 PM Dallas, Texas Time includes 1h unpaid break
  • 40 hours per week


Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Insurance Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis. This role involves managing and coordinating insurance claims, verifying patient insurance coverage, and ensuring that all insurance-related information is accurate and up-to-date. Additionally, the Insurance Coordinator will assist with scheduling appointments and managing the office’s calendar to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify patient insurance information and update records in the system.
  • Coordinate and manage insurance claims, including submission, follow-up, and resolution of claims.
  • Communicate with insurance providers to clarify coverage and address issues.
  • Assist patients with understanding their insurance benefits and resolving questions related to claims.
  • Work with the billing department to ensure accurate claims and reimbursements.
  • Handle appointment scheduling for the office, coordinating between patients, providers, and other staff members.
  • Maintain organized records of insurance claims, payments, and patient coverage information.
  • Support office administrative tasks to help maintain a well-functioning environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an Insurance Coordinator or similar role in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of insurance policies, claims processes, and terminology.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in medical billing software and general office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
